Quiz night, Tuesday 13th
Always popular, the quiz night is back. £2 per player. Pot to the winner.
Covid rules dictate one team per table. No standing. So please book ahead.

Guest chef: Ben Handley, the Laughing Monk, Friday 16th
Ben was the former chef of the Laughing Monk, the highly respected and much loved restaurant here in Strete, now sadly no more. But for one night only, the Laughing Monk is back. Ben will be serving a 3 course menu, prices to be confirmed asap.
Village BBQ, Sunday 18th
We’ve held a couple of BBQs now and they’ve been a great success with everything cooked to perfection and nothin burnt at all! We’ll be once again firing up the coals in July. Burgers, Veggie Burgers and Chicken. The sun will be shining, the ale will be fresh and lovely so book ahead!

The Strete Beer Festival, Saturday & Sunday 24th & 25th
The inaugural, soon to be famous Strete Beer Festival. Two days of real ale and cider, live music and with some appropriate food to soak it all up!
So far, we’ve got four Devon breweries signed up, from the well known to hidden gems, and we’ll offer a broad range of styles, some of which will real discoveries.
Plus live music.
Fabulous Fish & Chips Night, Friday 30th
The Kings Arms is once again holding its fabulous Fish & Chip night. Cooked to perfection by a special guest chef, our very own Laughing Monk, restauranteur extraordinaire Mr. David Rothwell. It is booking only so please book early to avoid disappointment.
£12.90 per person with home made tartar sauce, 5.30pm to 8pm.
Kids’ Morning: Crazy Hair Day, Saturday 31st
By the end of week one of the school holidays the kids will be moaning about having nothing to do…well they do now: the Kings Arms Crazy Hair Day competition. £2 per child, prizes for the winners.
10am to 1130am. Coffee and freshly baked pastries available.
