Events at the Kings Arms Community Pub

Every month we host a range of events. There’s a weekly quiz night, a village lunch and the highly amusing, occasionally chaotic Open Mic night, where you can sing along to your heart’s content, it has even been known for people to start dancing.

Currently, we are looking for a full time chef so our daily food menus are NOT available. In the meantime, over Easter we have some exciting guest chef appearances from some of the best local chefs.

Ben Handley is serving his Special Pies on Easter Saturday, 30th March.

Serin is serving his famous Sunday Lunches on Sunday 31st which includes an Easter Egg Hunt for the youngsters.

It’s Ben Handley’s Fish & Chip Night on Easter Monday when Ben will be serving south coast fillet of hake with hand cut chips, seaweed tartar sauce and mushy peas.

We are making other plans for food in the coming weeks. Please call ahead to confirm.

We’ve also got a professionally run Kids Craft Club on over the Easter holidays. This is priced and will be at 1-2pm on Tuesday the 2nd, Thursday 4th and the Thursday 11th. Poster below.

We celebrate all the major festivals across the year, like Halloween and Pirates Day, running a range of family events with affordable family menus, always fun filled with games, face painting and general chaos.

We also show major sporing events, like World Cup football and Six Nations Rugby.

We’ve decided to move the Third Year Anniversary Party, celebrating the Kings Arms as a community pub, to the late May Bank Holiday so we get out into the garden and enjoy the sunshine.
