UPDATE: We are currently looking for a full-time chef and so our daily food menus are NOT available. In the meantime, we have some exciting guest chef appearances from some of the best local chefs.

Ben Handley’s Special Pies Night is on Easter Saturday, the 30th March. Ben will be making Dartmoor venison with cranberries, port and five spice pie, Chicken, leek and smoked bacon pie and Roast cauliflower cheese and caramelised onion Pie, all served with mash, minted mushy peas and onion gravy.

Serin will be serving his award winning Sunday lunches on Easter Sunday when there will also be an Easter Egg Hunt.

And on Easter Monday it’s Ben Handley’s Fish & Chip Night when Ben will be serving south coast fillet of hake with hand cut chips, seaweed tartar sauce and mushy peas.

We are making other plans for food in the coming weeks. Please call ahead to confirm.

We try to make sure all our food is locally sourced. Some of it comes from the sea that you can see out of our enormous window, and Mel’s pickles literally come from across the road, where they are grown and made in Mel’s kitchen!

Our dinner menu changes regularly and we like to put on specials depending on what is seasonal. And example dinner menu can be found here.

A classic Sunday lunch is served every Sunday, with nut roast, beef or pork. Menu here.
