Pub Manager

We’re looking for someone who can oversee the pub operations, working with the head chef and the front of house supervisor whilst also you will provide an interface to the Management committee to ensure the seamless operation of all aspects of the customer experience. Ideally suited to someone who has previous experience in the licenced trade who wishes to use their knowledge and experience to help develop our business.

Key Responsibilities

– Managing the smooth running of all the Pub operations, including till management and financial records.

– Maintaining a high quality customer experience

– Performing required operational and commercial management tasks.

– Reporting back any major/urgent issues to the management committeeBeing a role model for all staff whilst providing support and development

Flexible working 40 to 50 hours/week with weekend working

Ideal for someone who has previous experience in the Pub/Hospitality trade, wants to feel part of village life and is great with people.

Full time Salary: £25-32k PA


We’re looking for someone energetic to work alongside our chefs, prepping foods, plating up and helping make sure the kitchen runs smoothly also covering for the Chef during holidays/days off.
Working in a fun, busy community pub kitchen, this post is ideal for someone with existing kitchen experience who wants to progress to a chefs position or for an existing commis chef who wants further progression.

Main responsibilities include but are not exclusive to:

Perform all aspects of food prep under the guidance of the Head Chef

Work to menus and recipes as advised by the Head Chef

To occasionally stand in for the Head Chef

To take deliveries and store food

To work to ensure efficient and profitable kitchen operations

To liaise with FoH staff to ensure a seamless customer experience

To maintain and improve standards in the kitchen

To read and work to all notices in your work area.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-45 per week
